Located in Vidya Vihar, Lucknow, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) is a central university. It has received approval from MHRD and UGC and NAAC accreditation (‘Grade A’). By NIRF, 2023, the university is ranked 69th overall in the category. More than forty departments of BBAU are in charge of offering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, research-based, and integrated courses.
