Government Degree College Muwani (Pithoragarh) is situated in Lesser Himalayan Zone of Kumuan Himalaya at an altitude of 2010 mt. Government Degree college Muwani came in to being in 2014. The college is affiliated to KUMAUN UNIVERSITY NAINITAL, UTTARAKHAND, and now from current session the college is affiliated to SOBAN SINGH JEENA UNIVERSITY ALMORA.. The basic purpose of the establishment of the college, was to extend the education to the most common and poor person of this remote hilly area. At present, the college is running class of B.A. with subjects (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Economics, Sociology)
